I'm growing plants in containers on my walkway. They're all growing, but the problem is that they seem a little ... weak? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I started them off in one of those mini-greenhouse propogation things. They grew, I transplanted them into containers. I'm not doing anything special, giving them food (I do have plant food) or anything else besides watering them.
Any possible tips for stronger plants? They've been out for something like 3 to 4 weeks.
did you replant them directly to big containers or gradually increased the size of the pot? they may be overwhelmed as the container may be too big for the size they were/are. don't know what to tell you to do to strenghthen them...may need to mound more soil around them to develop
a stronger root system...
maybe some of the seasoned gardeners can offer better advice...are they getting enough sun and air circulation...that could affect their growth
Are they in the right amount of sun/shade? Watering too much or too little? Use mulch? I know these are basic questions, but I'm trying to get an idea what you've considered.

I replanted them into a container that was a size-up, but not something too big.

They're not in direct light, they're kind of on the *shady* (whoops!) side. I water when the dirt starts to look dry. Not using mulch.
I don't mind if they're basic, I'm a new to gardening and can definitely use the help.
My first impression is that perhaps you did not "thin" them out enough and maybe their are too many, too close together.
I always feel a bit disappointed when I have to get in there and decide which ones will stay and which ones must go....
I cried when I had to thin my seedlings. This is the first year I've ever started growing veggies from seed... gosh! I don't like it. It's like veggie abortion or something. Terrible feeling. I think next year I will either just put one seed in and hope for good luck, or just start with the starts so I don't have to kill any babies.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. This was the first year I plucked out every other bean plant like it says on the package and it made me so sad. I still haven't thinned the zucchini--they all look so vibrant.
But in the past I've left them and had lots of downy mildew problems so maybe it is for the best...
It looks like I'll have to thin them ... all these smaller plants started popping up within the past few days. I'm not sure what they're from.
The ones that are doing the best are my random cloves of garlic planted in soil (not pictured, but they're growing pretty fast) and the random bean plant.
