Got an email today on the signup I did with Greencast:
“The soil temperatures in your area are close to the ideal temperature for Crabgrass germination. Now is the time to begin preparations for the next step in your turf management plan”
In general that may work, but here in the East coast, temperatures have been on a rollercoaster so the only way to really know is by soil temperature. Temps have been optimal for crabgrass germination, but mowing has not even begun.
