I have full sun and it refers to shade. I am fixing to get some 0 to -7 degree weather, so maybe it will kill it.

So many of these species have long taproots. If the soil doesn't freeze deep enough and stay frozen long enough, fat chance! "Weeds" aren't wimps!

This is the forth day of the temperatures being way below zero. It got up to 11 degrees yesterday along with 3" of snow the day before. Below are my current soil temperatures. The ambient temperature right now is -4.

Current Soil Temperature : 19°
24-Hour Average : 20.9°
5 Day Average : 29.6°
