During the past 6 years, I have moved three times (1x to another state, 2x to another city in the same state). I can't seem to be happy in a place. Maybe I'm just a nomad! My wife and I have no children, so it's easy to pick up and move. I actually don't like moving, but I do enjoy living in a new place.
Anyone else move a lot?
15 different states before I was 15 years old, 3 grade schools, 4 high schools, 4 colleges, then as an adult a few moves, actually moved 8 times in 5 years and in those 8 times moved from one state to the other twice, we have been where we are now 3 years which is a record for us but we are moving again within the next few months.

I wish it had been so honorable.
My sperm donor was a career criminal and my Mother a very naive, young woman in love (thank goodness she got over it eventually).
All of the moves were because he was running from Law Enforcement.
The adult moves were circumstances beyond my control and we will just leave it at that except to mention nothing illegal was going on. I am not even remotely close to the sperm donor.
This next move which will be our last is because we are getting ready to purchase land for our home.
I've moved a lot too. Some times to be in a different area but most times for a different work opportunity (changing companies)
-moved from Cape Coral, Florida to Lexington, Mo
-moved to Independence, Mo
-moved to Kansas City, Mo
-moved back to Cape Coral
-moved to Huntsville, Al

In all if this, I almost moved to Chicago for a job
I'm not done moving. I think I'd like to make my forever home in California
I missed this post the first read around, impressive list. How long of a time span was all this in?
I think it might be a bit weird. Don't you think it is just seeking to escape from problems ?
For some, for most of us though it is a sense of curiosity and adventure. I think it adds a lot to someones character, having been able to live in various places.

This was all done from 1997-2013
I stayed in most places for awhile, but there was a few places that I only lived in for a year
