Yep. This is the main benefit.

When we moved across the country, I drove one car and my wife drove the other. If you plan to ship one, the current going rate seems to be $1,200-1,500, $300-500 more for enclosed shipping.

Initially I had a reservation with the lowest bid for shipping a car cross-country, but upon further research I read horror stories - apparently the industry is pretty shady. A relative who is a snowbird and ships their car yearly recommended AM/PM Car Carriers. They were quite a bit more than the low bid I received, but we did not have any issues or complaints. We were wiped out after selling our home and coordinating the move, so we didn’t want any more headaches and paid extra for piece of mind.

Do they allow you to pack your car with boxes?

No, because of weight - and they check. We put light items like linens in the car. The less expensive broker I initially booked with was fine with packing the car with objects, but who knows what would have happened when the car would have been picked up by the truck driver.

Any guesstimate on price range for something like this, too?

Thanks!
You can find many companies that offer shipping services on the internet. The only thing is you will have to find an appropriate one that offers services for your location and look for its reviews. Our neighbours used car shipping California services by We Will Transport It for shipping to Florida from California. They shipped the vehicles carefully and there was no damage at all. Look for companies that serve in your area.

Wherever it is that your car is being loaded... how many operators are there to choose among?

long story short: they're all brokers and work together.
Focus on price or convenience. Maybe you can get both.

Uship. They are not all brokers. I was thrilled with my last car shipment. I will absolutely use the again.
