Yup! They are by far in the minority. According to the 2010 census, the racial and ethnicity composition in North Dakota was as follows: White American: 90.0% (88.7% non-Hispanic white), Native American: 5.4%, Black or African American: 1.2%. Many of the Native Americans who live in Minnesota and North Dakota live on the reservations, so you don't see many of them. Some of the tribes have great benefits...others, not so much.

Minnesota and Wisconsin. Lots of people with Scandinavian ancestors. That means lots of tall blonds.

States with high concentrations of German and Scandinavian Americans, which would mean the Midwest, in general. The Scandinavian portion would be found in states such as Minnesota, North/South Dakota, and in sections of Wisconsin and northern Iowa.

Ancestry isn't everything , but it does account for some stereotyping...

Apparently you don't know beans. I lived in ND two years and 15 years in Minnesota. The entire culture revolves around the Scandinavians. LOL!

You would be incorrect. Obviously, no matter where you live there are people from many different ethnicities; however, Minnesota is the center of Scandinavian-American culture in the United States. Scandinavian Immigration and Influence in Minnesota - Stevens County Historical Society & Museum

I made that point earlier. So many women these days dye their hair blonde you can't really tell. I think you should only pay attention to the men if you want to know what the "natural" hair color of the local populace is.
