It's tough being a man who prefers brunettes growing up in a place like Minnesota! When I left the state one of the most obvious benefits were the sheer number of beautiful brunettes I noticed (in relation to what I was used to in MN)!

Wow Minnesota sounds great but that winter
A lot of guys say they prefer brunettes to brunettes (to score points in hopes of getting laid or to make them feel desirable) but deep down prefer blondes. The ones who genuinely mean it are rare I think.
I think there is a relatively shortage of adult blondes in the US, because despite most of the white people claiming to be of german ancestry, deep down they are mostly from British ISles ancestry. I have been to the Uk more than a few times and the big majority of The British People (same goes for the Irish) are dark brown or mousy haired in adulthood, and rarely natural blondes, yes they have a lot of blondle toddlers and babies, but adults usually have much darker hair. That shows up in the average white american phenotype where mousy and dark brown shades are much commoner, with the exception of those areas where Scandianvians, dutch and germans (real germans not allemanic germans from france or switerland) settled.
As I explained before , british Isles heritage (and you could lump the Irish aswell) are much commoner among white americans than German one, genetic studies have shown that.
Between both natural and bottled blondes, the Deep South has this one down. Between the English and Scottish ancestry and the emphasis that Southern culture places on looks, there are blondes galore. Just walk into any shopping mall in Atlanta, Houston, or Dallas and see for yourself!

What a generalization. Maybe at some tacky suburban mall in the mostly-white suburbs that would be true, but all three of those cities have large Black populations, and Houston and Dallas both have large Latino communities. Not to mention Houston's sizeable Asian population.
Same goes for the people saying L.A. and San Diego. I saw more blondes in Minneapolis than I saw anywhere in Texas or California. I see plenty of them up here in Seattle as well. Lots of Scandinavian and German bloodlines in the upper Midwest, and we have plenty of Scandinavians here in the PNW too.

Wrong wrong and wrong. You have never been to America or Europe. Go back to those weird pictures you stare at all day.

Actually, no, that is not true. More Americans have Germanic heritage.
I also don't think it's true that Germans are necessarily more fair/blond than those in British Isles. There are tons of fair/blond people in the British Isles, everywhere, but especially Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Northern England. Germany is very blond in the north, but more brunette in the south, and the south has a larger population.
I'd say in general most women who are bleached blond do not have dark brown or black roots. Instead they tend to be people who were blond as children or teenagers, and had their hair fade to a rather bland indeterminate color between light brown and dirty blond, and get highlights to punch it up a bit.
