Going along with the Waffle House thread, who has the most Fried Chicken Places? Here in the Southwest part of Jefferson County we have what seems like TONS.

It seems like there is a lot of Popeye Fried Chickens mostly where I live in Jacksonville,Florida.We have Beach Road Chicken Diner restaurant that is one of the most popular places to eat .You willl see people waiting in line out the door.

Kentucky from what I've seen tends to have the most fried chicken, although I'd say the South in general fits that bill pretty well. The South is where it's at....delicious barbeque, fried chicken, sweet tea....so good to think of except when you're on a diet

Near where I live there are four different ones within a mile of each other lol Only one (I think) is a chain.

southern us, mississippi, alabama, gerogia, kentucky, florida. I think that fried chicken in the south could be the link to why mississippi is the fatest state, along with alabama and georgia.

I remember when I was younger, I loved Church's Chicken. I don't see a single one in the DC area anymore though. I wouldn't mind taking a road trip down south for one though, like a Harold and Kumar go to White Castle kind of deal.
