I know Surfside beach is better.

Any beach they'd focus on needs to be close to a major city, just going to Jamaica Beach is like 2 hours from Houston.

I have not seen most of the Gulf Coast so take my vote was a grain of salt. But I think it is a reasonable guess to say FLORIDA. Especially, since the West Coast of Florida should be included, not just the Florida Panhandle. Florida also seems to care about its beaches more than many other states.

Alabama and Mississippi beaches look nice but their coastlines are very small compared to Florida. Texas seems to be a mixed bag from west to east, and I have never heard anything about beaches in Louisana. Which is suprising since Louisana looks like she has a long coastline.

She has a long coastline compared to MS and AL but it's probably the worst section of coastline as far as beaches go.

Perry is about 20 miles from the water and I am pretty sure it is mostly salt marsh in that area of Big Bend not beach when you get by the water.

Well I was there visiting my exgirlfriends grandparents, I'm not familiar with Florida but I know they live in Perry and we went out there for something to do. I'm not sure if it was the Gulf or not but it was beautiful in it's own way.

My beach, South Padre Island, is the best in the country.
