Given the opportunity, where would the best place be to relocate when you take into consideration:
1. Quality of Life
2. Opportunity
3. Affordability
Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, and Atlanta all pop into my mind. It just depends on what exactly you're looking for in a city, those characteristics you listed are vague and will vary.
Nashville, Tn - including Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill, and also Murfreesboro where you get the best bang for your buck.
No State income tax and some of the lowest property taxes in the country.
I'm not going to say where not to go, because I know a few would go after me here, which is typical of that state.
The only time I ever got a straight answer to that was my ex-wife telling me... "Out!"
