Pros and Cons: NYC
I love New York City mixtapes and late night DJ rap on HOT 97
Love pizza and love getting around without a car and don't think I can take the cold weather again (Been in Augusta, GA for 9 yrs, born and raise in NJ) Miss my sister too and praying for her as well.

Pros and Cons: Miami
Love 24/7 warm weather, and afraid of missing my roots of listening to NYC rap mixtapes, love to getting around without a car which has been solved before.

So what should I do about this decision? I've visited NYC and not Miami, but Walt Disney World back in '95 But never lived in NYC or Miami.

I personally would advise NYC for you but since you said you cannot do the cold anymore, then Miami is where you should go. You won't lose much of NYC culture down there because Miami has tons of NY transplants. There are meet-up groups all the time from websites like Meetup. I have no doubt there is an NYC-to-Miami transplant group there. You can still listen to your mixtapes online. And you can tune in to that radio station online as well. But regardless, you should take this move as an opportunity to expose yourself to new cultures. Instead of focusing on retaining your NYC culture, expose and throw yourself in Miami culture. Learn something new. Experience different sights and sounds. Why would you move if you didn't want to try new things?

(former NJ) Forget both.

NYC: people very unfriendly; terrorist target; very expensive and fast-paced; high crime and homeless rate; extremely polluted; no privacy; too much concrete and not enough natural settings; etc.
Florida: plenty of retired New Yorkers; too many bugs, wildlife, and tourists; prone to flooding and hurricane; etc.
