Well, in Massachusetts Dunkin Donuts seems to be a state icon. A lot of natives love 'em, don't know why. I live in walking distance to two!

Dunkin' is also huge in Chicago.

Dunkin Donuts is also making a comeback in Iowa.

Most Iowans go to Krispy Kreme or Caseys (a regional convenience store/gas station chain that is slowly becoming more national) for their donuts.

But to be honest, Krispy Kreme sucks. Give me a good old cakey donut any day (Caseys blows DD's out of the water).

Krispy Kreme is pretty dang good!

I honestly can't stand cake donuts! What's the point? I'll just have a piece of real cake.

Krispy Kreme learned the hard way that it's the coffee that gets people in the door. Not their decent, imo, donuts.

I'm a donut fiend. Sadly there is nowhere on my way in to work to grab some. DD donuts are blah, I do like the coffee and drinks, can't resist KK hot glazed. The box can easily be empty before I get home. My wife says I'll never grow up

DD's isn't really all that spectacular, but usually the mom and pop donut stores and bakeries usually run out of donuts by the time I ever get there. I also like KKs a bit more but there's not as many around here.
