Didn't see it posted. Sorry if a duplicate.
Lol on the state Americans want kicked out. Who would have guessed. Maybe Texans should stop bragging about that special treaty (which really doesn't exist) that gives them a get out of the Union free card.

Good ol' Alabama. Representing far beyond it's population. At least we have Mississippi to laugh at.

I really don't like either state, but I'd chose 'Bama over Mississippi 11 out of 10 times...

You know what I find interesting? That people claim to "hate Texas" so much - and yet, people are moving here in droves - and settling right on in, happy as clams (whatever that means).

BBC News - 10 reasons why so many people are moving to Texas

Texas has the highest number of new residents for 2012, and it also ranks among the top states (fourth out of fifty) when it comes to the percentage rate of new residents moving from other states.

And those who are born here, stay here too. In fact, Texas ranks #1 when it comes to people who are born here and never leave:

Welp, if everybody hates you then you must be doing something right

Better hated than ignored!

I've seen about a gazillion Texas plates in Southern California so they ain't all sticking around. Personally know more than a handful in the Chicago area as well. Just cause more people are moving in doesn't mean people aren't moving out too. Texas, like everywhere else, is certainly not for everyone, even those who were born there.
