The Hispanic population is growing faster in Pennsylvania too.
Pennsylvania Hispanic growth: +83%
Pennsylvania Asian growth: +59%
It's also worth noting that the rate of Hispanic growth in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area between 2010 and 2012 is the fastest of all major metropolitan areas (1,000,000+ population) in the Northeast and Midwest, and the only one to grow by a double-digit percentage. Granted, it's starting from a small base, but it didn't have the fastest rate of Hispanic growth between 2000 and 2010, which means that the pace has accelerated since.
Considering that the rate of both Hispanic and Asian growth in is very high, the rate of black growth is greater than all its peer states (Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio), and there's currently a massive die-off of the oversized elderly white population, I believe that Pennsylvania is going to have the most dramatic demographic changes of any state in the Northeast or Midwest by 2020.
