Hello! I am trying to find a place in the Northeast to move to. I'm in my early 30s and live in a relatively conservative part of the south and desperately want to move back up north. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm still down here living with my parents.
I have been working odd jobs in food service and cleaning, but I do want something a bit more. I did go to a local college to get a degree, but sadly, the recession hasn't treated me nicely.
Could anyone suggest something for me? I just generally want life advice and a change of pace because what I am doing right now clearly isn't working.
What kind of degree did you get while in college, and what type of food service experience do you have? Those answers can help with a suggestion or two.
Try moving back to where you were from if you liked it?
