NY ricans, Philly ricans, Orlando ricans, and chicago ricans

Had to add them New England cities. Can't talk about Puerto Ricans (and Dominicans) without mentioning southern New England. Outside of New York and Florida, it's biggest hotspot for Caribbean Hispanics, only missing the Cubans.

Connecticut has the highest percentage of Puerto Ricans of any state, over 9% of CT is Boricua. Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven are 30-40% PR, and many other cities have large numbers too. Also, Rhode Island and Massachusetts has many Puerto Ricans and Dominicans. Springfield and Holyoke have some of the highest PR percentages in the country. And Lawrence and Providence (RI) is dominated is dominated by Dominicans, Rhode Island having the highest Dominican percentage of any state, 6%

Perception? Average compared to most groups.

I live in NJ. in a very puerto rican city, and lived in Orlando, NYC and Boston. Orlandoricans I find to be MUCH more middle/upper middle class compared to the NE as more own home and build capital.

Not only that but they also have enough job skills, connections and wherewithal to make another large move from those cities. They're like a self-selected group of motivated individuals.

Yeah exactly. Most up north are more likely to go another way.
