Sorry i don't if i worded that right but i'll show examples.

What i love about how some cities are set up is so some streets have the view of the skyscrapers directly in front.

Here is an example in Chicago with the Trump Tower straight ahead.

Trump tower in Vegas

Here's a good one from Boston, with the Prudential Tower being the focus:

(The street is actually in Cambridge, if that's important.)

City Hall in Philadelphia stands right at Broad and Market so is visible the length of both streets:

I love the views along Broad Street and Market Street in Philadelphia toward City Hall.

Varick Street in SoHo, points you toward a brilliantly-lit Woolworth Building at night. Here's the google streetview, followed by just a pic of the building at night. Put the two together in your imagination and you'll see what I mean

Love seeing the Verrazano Narrows Bridge soar overhead while driving (or crawling) along the Belt Pkwy

Not exactly a skyscraper and certainly not well known, but I always liked the view approaching this classic county courthouse in Blakely, Georgia.

Here's another shot of the Trump that you might like, except this one is from the north looking south on Wabash.

La Salle St. in Chicago and the CBOT:

I should also mention that most state capitals have a street or promenade that leads up to their respective capitols. E.g. Madison, Springfield, Austin, etc.

Here's another good one for Boston by Fenway Park...

https://www.google.com/maps/@42.3471...nUulYis7oA!2e0

And here's one looking towards the Bunker Hill monument in Charlestown...

https://www.google.com/maps/@42.3750...JthYQUxKEQ!2e0

And here's looking up State Street toward the Old State House...

https://www.google.com/maps/@42.3591...dMAfHoA8Zw!2e0

My favorite is still the one I posted earlier, because the tower is visible from all the way across the river.

And how can we forget the ferry terminal at the foot of Market Street in San Francisco?

And its darker cousin in Hoboken:
