Germany and England do have more crime now than ever and its getting worse same with France, all those countries have a separation between Muslims transplants and nationals and its worse. I know I am Arab and a Christian, Islamic extremists are growing in numbers in all Europe even in countries like Sweden but in France, UK and Germany its getting really bad.
Finland is the size of Arkansas and has a population that could fit into a neighborhood in LA, and everyone is related (is that homogeneous!)
how is that comparable to a Federation of fifty states, six territories and 320 million people of all sorts of backgrounds!!

This thread was not a fair comparison. USA has 320 million people no European country has that much of a population. Police in Europe can be violent and corrupt as well, it really dependents on the country. Eastern European countries are about as corrupt as you can get.
Who? We are not violent. Inner city gangs and thugs? Yes, they are violent. Eliminate them from just the 5 most dangerous cities in the US that most of us will never come in contact with and one can see how non-violent and safe the US is.
Are you aware that the "white-only" murder rate in the US at 2.6 per 100,000 is still far higher than Western Europe. So what gives? Why are US whites so violent?

They never had the systematic racism we had, started with slavery ironically by the UK and out other colonizers, that has lasting impacts on today's population.
It's difficult to compare them to us when they didn't have slave plantations right in their backyards like we do. This doesn't go for Germany, but the UK, also France and Spain and the Netherlands. You can thank our history of slavery right in our own country (brought here by European powers) for a lasting racism and tensions. We were the colonies, the central government in the central areas of the empires (modern day Europe) did not have the issue of slavery like their colonies in the new world did, it's a whole different dynamic that has lasting repercussions.

How come it's not like that when compared to population? Police doesn't have similar rights to murder people in Eastern Europe
