I always read city data from Google searches so thought I'd start my own thread. I'm in my early 30s and currently living in NYC, making about $115K at my job. My goal is to retire by the time I'm 40 and I save very aggressively. I'm thinking of trying to retire even earlier by moving to a city that is booming that isn't as expensive as NYC.
Any suggestions? I've heard Houston and Austin are really hot right now so I was thinking about there. Where else? I have a master's degree in economics.
