Hey everyone, I'm looking to move somewhere with:

• A lot of jobs and activity in creative industries. (For what it's worth, I'm especially interested in music, acting and writing, but I'd really like to maximize my opportunity for creative jobs in a general sense. I have many different interests.)
• Relative affordability in terms of apartment/house rentals. I don't expect to be earning more than the typical entry-level salary for the area (most likely less), and I'd like to be able to afford a reasonably-sized place on that salary, by myself or with a roommate or two.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Louisiana has cut down on film tax breaks and Hollywood is a little upset with North Carolina over the bathroom bill. These may put a damper on movies made down there.

I wouldn't overlook Nashville (even though it's known obviously as the Country-Western mecca), it's seeing a spillover/diversification of other interests due to the sheer level of talent attracted there.
