ScranBarre actually gave me the idea for this thread when he mentioned a neighborhood that he liked that was adjacent to the university in Omaha.
What neighborhoods in the US do you love that are bordering or surrounding a university?
Offhand, I come up with:
Druid Hills = Emory University (Atlanta)
Winter Park = Rollins College (Orlando)
University Park = SMU (Dallas)
Georgetown = Georgetown University (Washington DC)
Location: New Albany, Indiana (Greater Louisville)

Old Louisville sits just north of the University of Louisville. It is/ was:
- the largest Historic Preservation District in the US outside of NYC
- place where the electric light bulb was first seen publicly
- has more pedestrian only "grass" streets
- home to the largest annual outdoor arts and crafts festival in the US
east side/college hill - providence - Brown University
