This is an exact description (minus the kids) of my cousin. She is marrying an investment banker who comes from a super rich family and leading a charmed life of world travel, material possessions, their brand new home in Cape Cod that she can't stop Instagramming about, and all of the "humble" bragging that goes along with it. She also has decided to never work again and blog all day. Must be nice.

Of all places, Cape Cod? Really?

Yikes. How much use do they get out of it? Three months of the year? Sounds like a massive waste. Overrated.

Their plan is to live there full time.

Boat shoes, crewnecks, white wine spritzers.... no stereotypes being ticked there.

Especially while I'm over here working almost 10 hours a day, one vacation a year, and semi struggling with life.

Especially for some of these families that the husbands are in med school. How do they afford to live? Many have nice houses and 3-4 children! I don't get it! It especially seems like this is the case on the west coast!
Most of the time it might not even be theirs.

Example, I have a friend who does this... only the gorgeous house she say is 'hers' is really her parents house that she sometimes stays at. Takes pics when she stays there and claims it as her own.

People will do/say anything to make their lives seem better than they really are.

I'm a pretty good example of this right now. We're having a beautiful bathroom built and everyone is like "how can you afford that?"... my dad is doing it for free, that's how.

I have zero debt other than a mortgage. We set aside a travel account and only use it when we have the $$ in full and pay the trip off before we go.

We also sacrifice a lot of other things to be able to travel. We do not have kids and we work long hours, work our butts off for it.
