While we are not hippies, this is DEFINITELY the kind of outside-the-box we are looking for!

Strange people and a strange option.

Well, there are literally thousands of different types of intentional communities around the US and the world. Here's a directory, you can search by location, type, etc.:

All this moving around like have to be costing you. You can't be that poor and able to move around from state to state like that.

I do not know if I said this yet, but we are both autistic.

We get along fine on a day-to-day, and have kids.

But loud noises, fireworks, 3am rap music, 50 screaming kids from next door hitting our windows and using our yard just drives us mad to no end...

The one you are talking about is not even in your link.

The only thing in your link is apartments (which we do NOT want!) for rich people!

Thanks for trying, but not really sure why you posted this....
Umm, those are lower income apartments.

So, what exactly are you looking for?

We are.

We have lived in other countries as well.

Unless you are implying something?

Sadly, we need to find something for poor people that happen to be clean and law-abiding.
??

There are homes listed in Aroostook County link that I posted for $19k. With super low taxes. Its like $87 a month for a mortgage on one of those.

So, its definitely not for rich people. I'm not sure what you are looking for.

For one, apartments are not what we want.

Unless you know there are apartments where the people are civil and quiet and do not smoke?

Apartments are nightmares!

Even houses can be bad if you have neighbors.

Well, what you call "low-income" is about 100 times what we are paying now, and twice our income.

So that is clearly not going to work.

You should read my original post!

Mortgages are something rich people use.

$20,000 is an astronomical figure.

What I am looking for is something for poor people, not rich people.

We currently have about $1,000 saved up. The most we have ever had.

It is theoretically possible that we could save up...$5,000? Assuming we can survive this nightmare of Indiana we are in.
