Biggest cities without amusement parks and/or zoos (vacation, stations)

The upcoming Kalahari Resort in Austin suburb Round Rock, Texas (the first Kalahari to be in a metropolitan area instead of a resort area) will also have an indoor amusement park (Tom Foolery's Adventure Park) attached to it like the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells does. Tom Foolery's Adventure Park will be the largest amusement park in the Austin metropolitan area.
Not anymore for the bolded, the largest park in the Austin area will be COTALand with Palindrome coming to the park.
A family entertainment center is changing the latter with a rides expansion including two roller coasters which is going to make the place by far the largest amusement park in the state of Mississippi so Biloxi is finally getting saved from being an example of this when it comes to amusement parks.
I consider Six Flags Great Adventure too far south to be part of the Big Apple's tri-state metropolis.
It's placed in that location to serve both NYC and Philly. Most theme parks are placed away from the cities (Keep in mind that Cedar Point is in a small town within a day trip distance of both Cleveland and Detroit as well as Toledo).

Cedar Point has been around since 1870. There were several local amusement parks in both Detroit and Cleveland at that time. Cedar Point, likely due to its proximity between the two and being an early roller coaster juggernaut, did make it the winner. But it was not originally built with the expectation it would serve both Cleveland and Detroit.
