I guess people will skew things to how it suits them. Thankfully, how this all started is evident on page 7 with the below. My description of Skyscrapers next to strip malls next to large homes with prominent malls accurately describes both locations.
Tyson is close to the Perimeter Center. It isn't even on the same level as Buckhead.

Only Kenilworth and Winnetka are more expensive now, so I doubt people say I can't afford the North Shore, so here I go to Hinsdale. Hinsdale is just vomit? Better get that checked, sounds pretty serious to me.............Sounds like some serious Naperville envy.
Hinsdale downtown ooozes with charm? Its like 3 blocks. Not a fan of the Hinsdale mcmasion teardown. Sorry.

Chicago's north shore suburbs

St Louis, MO suburbs of Clayton, Ladue. and Huntleigh area.

Birmingham, AL suburbs of Hoover, Vestavia Hills, and Mountain Brook even though they are heavily segregated.

LA OC beach cities of Laguna Beach My favorite, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach. I guess Beverly Hills would technically be a suburb, Ranch Palos Verdes, Pasendena, Manhattan Beach, Yorba Linda. I guess LA would be in the same boat as Atlanta with having many communities within the city limits that are basically suburbs if we could count those I would include Bel Air, I never understood why the homes were so expensive until I went there, and no city in this country provides those views from within the city limits.

Atlanta, GA East Cobb, North Fulton, and Peachtree Corners.

Las Vegas, NV I know I know they are as cookie cutter as they come, but i recently explored Vegas outside of the strip, and I think the city of Henderson has some really nice suburbs. Personally I think this thread was made to bolster the suburbs of the NE cities, but in reality who's actually booming right now. lol How people on CD largely does not not reflect the trends of most Americans, and those cookie cutter suburbs are what people obviously want. I could also name nice suburbs from every single large american city. There's so much beauty across this country.

According to Wikipedia's entries for both Buckhead (the neighborhood of the city of Atlanta) and Tyson's Corner, VA, the listed median household income of Buckhead was $280k, Tyson's Corner $174K.

I realize Wikipedia has it's drawbacks. But saying Buckhead, the uncontested epicenter of old money wealth in Atlanta, has an average income of $43k is hysterical.
I literally just googled 30305, 3037, and 30342 the main zip codes, and found them on city data, and WOW! I didn't know how wealthy they were 30327 has a gross income of 388k like . The other two aren't that shabby either. I knew Buckhead was wealthy, but I didn't know it was that wealthy.

Hmmm I didn't really look at your link, but strange. According to the census it's 146K for median household income.

Well I just looked it up, and thats what I found. CD goes by tax information, so I don't know how that varies, but on CD you can compare that to the zip codes of Tyson Corners, and yes you got it Buckhead is wealthier. I understand that Wikipedia is probably more suitable to your liking.
