Southwest across Kentucky (Interstates 71 and 65). It takes like five or six hours, and I don't think of Kentucky as being a "tall" state.

Driving across Illinois from Indiana to Iowa or Missouri relative breeze. Driving end-to-end through Illinois from Wisconsin to Kentucky is an absolute drag.

I 94 in North Dakota, I 90 in South Dakota and Minnesota, and I 80 in Nebraksa, Wyoming, and Iowa are all painful. Certain stretches on them feel longer than others.

I-75 through Ohio from Toledo to Cincinnati. The section from Toledo to Dayton is especially tedious, nothing but endless flat fields.

I-77 through West Virginia from the Ohio border to the Virginia border. Endless twists and turns and a few hours feels like a full day.

I-75 through Georgia from the Tennessee border to the Florida border. The only thing that breaks it up is the horrific traffic of Atlanta which adds a lot of extra time to the drive.

Kansas, definitely. Long straight roads, unchanging landscape, few signs of civilization, nothing new to look at and give visual stimulation.

Like driving on a treadmill.

Yes. That drive though Illinois seems endless.
