Atlanta has some very pretty buildings but it still looks like a mess to me. I don’t care for it at all.

Yes one of my favorites. That's coming from i-77north crossing over i85 near the Lasalle Street Bridge.

Thanks! I was about to ask where this was taken from.

Your username is from a show set in Boston, no?

Anyway, here’s a new-ish shot of the classic, money-shot angle. The u/c building on the right side of the frame has topped off now:

Just curious, which part of it looks like a mess to you? All of it - or Downtown, Midtown or Buckhead individually?

I saw this shot that captures how long the Austin skyline is getting:
https://twitter.com/aerofrohne/statu...16208571895818

The U/C building in the center that is capped in orange will rise to nearly 880' over the next year or so. And it's looking more and more likely that we'll get the tallest building in Texas U/C in the gap on the right hand side starting in Spring 2022.

Yeah I am curious as well…
From virtually all vantage points, Atlanta has a gorgeous skyline.

All of it, but Midtown is the worst offender (random setbacks, buildings arbitrarily rotated a few degrees, awkward spacing between them, fake stucco housing beside sleek towers, strip malls, parking lots, a bunch of ridiculous Children’s Palace looking high-rises). It all looks pretty from a distance but check out that drone footage. Yikes! In person it has all the elegance of Tyson’s Corner. I’ve never cared for it.
