I do have to add.... Minneapolis was by far the worst place I lived for my allergies, and I've known a lot of people who really struggled there. I don't completely understand why it was ranked a "good" city!
i think areas with mild weather and land locked are alot worse but places with rigid winters and are near a lake are generally better (clevland milwalkee)
I'm going to echo the sentiment that Minneapolis is NOT a good place for allergies. I'm at my worst here. And it lasts for so long! Sometimes from March til June! It's awful.
I grew up in Oklahoma and currently live in Kansas. However I spent about 3 years in SW Fla. I never had any allergy problems there despite the year round plant growth. I think the wind of the midwest really bothers me. It just stirs up whatever bothers me. In Flordia there weren't days where the wind blew relentlessly for no reason. I don't think any area is allergy free but the plains are not allergy friendly.
