I'd have to go with Tucson as one of the most underrated cities (it's not even on the list) and overshadowed (by Phoenix - less than 100 miles away). Many people can't even spell it correctly.

I think Charlotte is the most underrated. Despite having a nice skyline, strong economy, amusement parks, etc., not many people realize how important the city is in the region and for America. It is the second largest banking center in the nation.

On this list, I'd say Milwaukee. A really friendly, livable and architecturally interesting city. Strange that you don't hear more about it.

BOTTOM LINE: The most underrated cities in the U.S. arent on the list.

My vote goes to Fort Worth, TX.

Why? Because the OP who made this didn't even think about the city while making this up.

Fort Worth is bigger than 14 of the cities on the list and yet, it's not even up there.
If that doesn't show that it's underrated, than I don't know what does....

I can tell you exactly why he didn't put Fort Worth up there.

Most Americans outside of Texas do not view FW as it's own entity. They'll just say "Dallas-Ft. Worth" or "Dallas", because to them the two phrases are interchangeable. Only Texans know how different the two cities are.

Ugh.... don't remind me.
Even certain Texans think that Dallas and Fort Worth are the same..... even more reason why Fort Worth is the most underrated in the U.S.

I made a post on this same thread months ago about that.
WE DON'T BELONG TO DALLAS, PEOPLE!!!!!!

I am actually one who considers Fort Worth a part of Dallas, in the same way Oakland to me is part San Francisco. Is this the same problem Fort Worth runs in to? What is the difference between Fort Worth and Dallas?
