Which cities would you say is most aware of the following:
1) Politics
2)Sports
3) Other countries
4) Pop culture
5) Innovation/Tech
6) Food
7) Fashion/Art
I think the cluster of cities that keep up the most with sports and pop culture (namely TV/movies) would be very different from the ones that keep up the most with other countries, innovation/tech, and fashion/art. First group would be more the blue-collar interior of the country, second group more elite coastal cities and prestigious college towns.
I see the word aware has confused people. What I’m basically asking is which cities seem like they know most about each different category? For ex: Dc residents probably pay attention to politics more than any other city.

Ah, got it, thank you for clarifying. Sounds like you are wanting to know which cities are the most cosmopolitan?
I've got to think some of the biggest, more well educated:
I'll speak for the Seattle / Portland / San Francisco type. We follow politics and world events. Many of us follow sports. Food and art are big. Tech is huge for a lot of people obviously.
But fashion and pop culture tend to be considered frivolous to our typical archtypes.
