Portland I think edges out Seattle technically on the strength of how white it is, but Seattle would be the other city that comes to mind for me.

For (big) city proper, I’d guess Honolulu, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle. Surprised so many Asians in St. Paul. Many are Hmong maybe?

Since nobody said what the breakdown ratio had to be, I'll throw out Pittsburgh.

At the city level it's 71.3 percent white (in combination) and 6.5 percent Asian (in combination) for 77.8 percent. If you only include white alone and Asian alone, it's 68.8 percent (63.7 percent white alone and 5.1 percent Asian alone).

At the county level, it may have the highest combined percent of any county with a population of 1-million plus.

Allegheny County is 82.2 percent white (in combination) and 5.2 percent Asian (in combination) for 87.4 percent. Allegheny is 76 percent white alone and 4 percent Asian alone for 80 percent.

Not sure how "anywhere" Hawaii got left out.

This is nitpicking on my part, but adding the "in combination" numbers for Whites and Asians together is problematic since this double counts the White/Asian mixed residents, who fall into both categories. Locations with many US-born Asians (Hawaii for instance) are likely to have more of such a mixed race population.

Agree, why I also added the alone numbers.

Fort Lee, NJ

40.5 % Non-Hispanic White
41.3% Asian

Of all the examples so far, this one seems to have the highest combined percentage along with best balance between its Asian and White populations.

Let's see if anything can top it.

Good one. I was kind of chuckling and wondering if someone would bring up their city. Wheeling, WVA 84% white, 2 % Asian.
