I think the title speaks for itself...

I was wondering about the different places around the US where you could cross a state line and barely know it because the roads from one city cross seamlessly into another. Here's a good example of the RI/MA border in Fall River, MA/Tiverton, RI:

Just local roads, no highways/thruways/turnpikes, etc... , please.

Texarkana TX <=> Texarkana AR

Bristol TN <=> Bristol VA

Chicago/Calumet City <=> Hammond IN

Lansing IL <=> Munster IN -- in fact part of the (now defunct) Lansing Country Club golf course was in IL, part was in IN -- you could literally cross the state line driving your golf cart down the fairway and have no idea.

The west side of West Point, GA and Lanett, AL blend together on the west side of the Chattahoochee River. The only sign that identifies the state line is on Highway 29. An office I worked at in West Point, GA was 100 feet from the Alabama line and I crossed back and forth several times during the day. The eastern time zone also has a little enclave that includes Lanett and Valley, Alabama because they are so closely tied to West Point, GA. Less so today, but in the past there were big textile mills in the area.

The border between NH and MA is pretty porous in the Merrimack Valley. For example, this house sits on the state line I think: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.8673...7i13312!8i6656 . NH is to the left and MA is to the right.

There is this one spot, though, where the border is marked by a cute little sign. I always love driving by it: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.8441...7i16384!8i8192

Here is an even more stark example -- the houses on the left side are in IL, the ones on the right are in IN. Even the street names stay the same when you cross the state line.

The Columbia River is a pretty big deal. Especially on 101 going into Astoria near the mouth of the river going into the Pacific with a very long bridge crossing. It's a pretty good indicator you're transitioning into another state even without signage. But the Oregon state line is marked well on the bridge (https://www.google.com/maps/@46.2350...7i13312!8i6656) and coming off the bridge you get a state welcome sign (https://www.google.com/maps/@46.1876...7i16384!8i8192). I'd say it's pretty obvious a state line is located there.
