How would you define your state as a formula based on other states?

For example,

Georgia = 50% Alabama and 50% North Carolina
Massachusetts = 50% New York, 25% Connecticut, 25% New Jersey

I'm thinking more about the cultural commonalities moreso than population sizes here, so a state like Oklahoma could be 50% Texas without having anywhere close to 50% of Texas' population.

For some tricky states, it could be fair to add in places outside the country. Florida might have some parts NY and Alabama, but also have some parts Cuba.

I disagree on the Massachusetts one. I think it's more varied: 10% New Hampshire; 25% Rhode Island (that'll really upset MA residents lol), 10% CT, 10% Ireland, 15% England, 30% Dunkin Donuts

Hmm, Massachusetts = 50% New York, 25% Connecticut, 25% New Jersey will certainly **** off every Massachusetts poster on this forum lol.

Here is one for Ohio, an interesting border state. This is just guessing, see what you guys think.

Ohio
25% Michigan
20% Pennsylvania
20% Indiana
15% Kentucky
15% West Virginia
5% Connecticut and New York

California =
30% New Jersey (I know I know- but you don't really find this level of diversity and density elsewhere in the Western US)
20% Texas (Central Valley cities can have a Texan vibe- very hot, spread-out, oil-based economies)
20% Nevada (desolate interior parts)
20% Colorado (weed/drug enthusiasm, hippie/granola/crunchy vibes, some liberal white rural areas like Alpine County)
10% Oregon (Eureka, Crescent City etc. is basically the PNW)
