It seems whever one goes, it is almost impossible to find local resources for information. Sometimes, a public discussion forum can be found. Othertimes, there is nothing. However, it is the lack of attention by the big guys that prevents this. For example, google a city and you may see many many items, but you mayy not be able to find blogs and other small entities wheere you will get the real scoop on the area. The information tends to be dominated by commercial interests. It would seem that a large entity like this one would be interested in setting something up for this. For example, when you go to the zip code, where are the local resources? That woulod be a perfect place to provide people with links to places in or near that zip code which would provide people with information. Of course it might take away clicks on advertisements, but that might be made up by more users seeking information.
