View Poll Results: Omaha as a World Class City: How does it rank?

Look I can understand how much you love Omaha.... it's the same thing with me and Fort Worth. But you can't call Omaha a world class city. It's just not important enough......

I think this thread was meant to be more sarcastic than the op's actual feelings.

What about Donald Trump? And just because you have money doesn't mean your taste is the best.

Not world class? You must be joking. I am talking about Omaha, Nebraska not Omaha, Texas.

Excuse me..
Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom?
FIVE Fortune 500 companies?
Home to the 2008 U.S. OLYMPIC swim trials
Home to the COLLEGE WORLD SERIES
A scant 50 miles from UNL, home to the greatest college football team ever
An awesome zoo?
Home to the richest man in the universe?
Home to several famous black people?
The birthplace of PRESIDENT Gerald Ford?
Access to an interstate that spans the width of the country (I-80)
The tallest building between Denver and Minneapolis (nothing in Texas counts because it is too far south)?
More insurance businesses than you can shake a stick at?
3 major malls (five if you count our two outdoor ones)?
Home to a major Midwestern airport with TWO terminals?
Streets that number past 204th (we are THAT big and awesome)
I could go on and on.

If you were driving down I-80 in eastern Nebraska (as everyone reading this has no doubt done at least a few times) and were low on gas, you'd think Omaha is important enough.

All these Omaha haters really need to stop. Your envy of our town is obvious.

To clarify, this thread is about Omaha, Nebraska, not Omaha, Arkansas, Omaha, Georgia, Omaha, Illinois, Omaha, Texas or Omaha, New Zealand.

How embarrassing it must be for them not to live in the real Omaha. LOL

Donald Trump? Warren could buy and sell him and his cheap toupee on a daily basis. That Trump has no taste and doesn’t call Omaha his home is congruous.

I heard there was even an Old Chicago Pizza DOWNTOWN!! I mean, WOW!! Old Chicago Pizza!! They don't even have those where I live!

I think Omaha deserves a list of its own - to lump it in with other cities is a travesty of the highest order.

There's Omaha, and there's everything else.

Um, he was BORN there - its his hometown, of course he would choose it. I highly doubt someone from say New York (assuming they don't want to live in NY) became the worlds richest person would choose Omaha to live. On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being New York London Paris and Tokyo, 1 being a gross little villiage - Omaha would be a 4 in my books. Non of your poll choices match what i think Omaha is.
