San Antonio loves parades. The best and Biggest are during Fiesta San Antonio. The Battle of the Flowers parade draws about 500,000 to Downtown. Fiesta also has Fiesta Flambeau night parade with about 400k in attendance. The Riverwalk also has many parades throughout the year, Ford Holiday Parade, Texas Cavaliers parade, St. Patricks day, Halloween and many other fun parades.

I would think the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade would be pretty big.

Carnival Rio is the world's largest street anything but that being said: The Rose Parade is the best, Mardi Gras is the wildest and New York's Halloween parade may be the largest parade in the country because the people are the participants. West Hollywood's Halloween parade second.

Sorry, I like town parades better than big city ones. Here's some from our 2007 Christmas parade - check out the gas prices in the last photo:

I love the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade...I will also say that I LOVE the parade at Magic Kingdom (all those lights...)

But the mummer's parade has special meaning as I grew up outside of philly. I feel like those who are not from Philly just don't get the mummers, tho...
