I'd prefer a more balanced moderate state b/c I think both sides have good ideas and could actually get good things done if they worked together and compromised. Most people seem to be in the middle yet those on the far right and left are usually the only ones heard since they are the loudest, and most annoying.

I'm not sure whether Massachusetts would be considered liberal or conservative but I dig it.

I voted a liberal state, but a left leaning state would be fine too.

I prefer a balanced moderate state. I do not like strong conservative, nor strong liberal agendas pushed down my throat.

Wow after the Hong Kong vs New York discussion I cannot believe I am agreeing with you lol!

It would be nice to actually to live in a more balanced state. I would love if our vote actually mattered instead of the elections being over as soon as the primaries are done. Democratic or Republican (or Independent like me) more people would vote and it would be harder for the special interest groups to prevail.

Take a look around the country. Very often the worst run cities, counties and states are one party affairs.
