If you take a look at a picture of a random city block in Detroit that was taken in 1929 and you go to that block and look at it today, you cannot tell me that it isn't disappointing. It had so much potential, but white flight and years of corruption killed it.

Exactly and add racial tension at times too. I noticed that when I went to MSU in terms of interaction between the students. I would have thought the city would have moved on and forward a while ago.
I think Pittsburgh,
Now please let me explain. First off I like Pittsburgh thats why I think it is the most dissapointing. It is in such a beautiful setting. I love their bridges, their downtown skyline is beautiful and their set up is lovely. Why I think it is dissapointing is that the natural beauty and scenery doesn't match whats really there. This is coming from someone who has lived in Pittsburgh. They lack so much. They lack good bar scenes, club scenes. There are no five star restaurants. They really dont have much for restaruants of all sorts. Very few novelty shops. Their downtown doesnt really have anything out of the ordinary. Kind of plain and boring. The neighborhoods all seem similar. With all their natural beauty they dont capitalize on it like they could. The people are often cold and stuck up in passing. Their are no jobs. There is not much for festivals in the summertime, the concerts are too policed. There just is not much for fun. I could go on but I would have to say very dissapointing.
My expectations of LA were very low which it failed to meet quite miserably. LA easily the worst city in the developed world.
Bills, let us all know when you and your countrymen start brushing your teeth on a consistent schedule. I found London to be gray, confusing and crampt. This is of American cities though so, because of its pathetic state of discipline concerning its stock market and financial institutions, new york takes the vote for disappointment. Not getting off this particular hook.

We all brush our teeth twice daily, we would just prefer to spend our money on other things, and to have a unique set of teeth for identification if we die horribly. All the Americans with teeth out of the same box in Beverly Hills will be buried with this on their gravestone:
Here lies _________. (Unidentifiable)
He/She Died...
And we couldn't Iden-ti-fy...
Them.
That says more about you than it does about London. If you found London confusing and crampt (sic) maybe you should stick to Provo, UT.
