Looking for a retirement community similar to The Villages in Florida but not as big and with cheaper homes - perhaps manufactured homes where golf carts are general mode of transportation to stores and within community
States interested are Florida and South Carolina
Proximity to beaches would be nice but not mandatory
Peachtree City GA just outside Atlanta is not a "retirement city" per se and not near a beach, but nonetheless is the undisputed "Golf Cart Capital of the World." It's a primary mode of transit there.
