That's changing too..

only 3 out of the last 10 were GOP with 1 out of the last 5 being GOP.

Republicans have failed to win a statewide race in Virginia for a number of years now. In this state, known for its pragmatism, the last two decades have seen a pretty significant shift to blue. And the only thing keeping the legislature almost evenly balanced are gerrymandered districts, which are likely to be thrown out very soon. As a Democrat, I'm cautiously content with the change, but I'm equally concerned about the potential loss of Virginia pragmatism.
