I know there are more, but shot in Wisconsin were Public Enemies (Johnny Depp), Uncle Buck and Major League.

But which of those films actually takes place in Wisconsin?

People always tend to confuse film settings for where a film happened to be shot.

Barry Levinson has done many Baltimore involved films as I recall. Avalon involves Jewish immigrants to Baltimore so far as I can recall. I think his Diner involves Baltimore, but I've either never seen it or saw it so long ago I forgot it.

I can't find any film set in my birth-region of Northwest Arkansas. A Face in the Crowd apparently involves Northeast Arkansas to some degree. I remember a cartoon with a map that listed "Van Buren, Arkansas" in a prominent position.
