It is the wrong forum.

Still three I like that I don't think have been named are Rhett Butler, Steven Wright, and Jonathan Winters. Considering the above post I should probably add Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Silverman, David Cross, Gilda Radner, Ellen Cleghorne, and Danitra Vance. (I remember liking "Shakespeare in the Slums" anyway. Below I provide a link, but her performing it is a part of the appeal not just the words)

I was surprised you missed Kathy Griffin. I don't care what anybody say; that women is hilarious.

I saw Jerry Seinfeld live on tour last weekend and I laughed the entire time. His material has changed a bit since he retired a lot of his old classic stuff, and he's a family man now, but age 55, he's still as funny as ever.

Also, I think Brian Regan and of course Bill Cosby would make my list.

I don't like comics who need to use profanity/vulgarity to be funny.

Also, I find most of the really old school comedians pretty dry and humorless, or else just clownish. So those three are the only ones I can think of who have managed to be funny in a fairly sophisticated way, and without resorting to vulgarity.
