I'm a little tired of only seeing pics of Pittsburgh's skyline, so I'll post some residential shots that I like...

Looks like some were on the North Side, in the Mexican War Streets area. I'm not sure if all of them are from that area, though...

Our town is nothing huge, about 10,000 people. Its called Portage, Wisconsin.

This is the local Bluffs. Pretty aren't they?

Here is one of Gibraltar Rock State Natural area about 20 minutes from home.

Greetings from Portage, Wisconsin!!!
Most people percept Wisconsin as being Flat, its far from flat!

-Local Landmark: Cable Bridge

-Another landmark when it was being restored in 2006: Franklin County Courthouse

It is impossible to find a picture that shows all three cities! I'll keep looking and hopefully post one later, or take my own picture!

Thanks! Yeah, the North Side of Pittsburgh has some of the nicest rowhouses in the city.

Do you mean the name: "Mexican War Streets?" It is named that way because that part of the city (which was Allegheny at the time) was created in 1849 by General William Robinson Jr. after he returned from the Mexican-American War. He later became the mayor of the city of Allegheny, and, filled with patriotism, decided to name the streets after the various battles and generals of that war. The streets now carry names such as: Buena Vista Street, Filson Way, Monterey Street, Palo Alto Street, Resaca Place, Sherman Avenue, Taylor Avenue.

Great to see attention given to cities other than the major 4 in this thread, something little seen on this forum. Here are a few of Little Rock, AR.
