This reminds me of the time my nephew took some "seashells" to his first grade class for show and tell. He told everyone he got them at the lake(Havasu or Mead). The teacher insisted his seashells could not have come from the lake. I guess she didn't know that part of North America and many other parts were covered by great inland seas at one time. I wonder if she knew anything about plate tectonics, or the fossil record, for that matter. I bet she didn't even know that Las Vegas was once ocean front property. LOL, LMAO, etc., etc., etc.
