San Deigo can tend to be expensive, which is what the OP want's to avoid. But ABQ is a great city to live in.
Naturally very beautiful too.

I also want to throw Nashville, Knoxville, or Charlotte in the mix too.

Yeah it's one of the more affordable cities in California.

Actually that's a brilliant suggestion. It's economy is expanding.

If you don't like high humidity, avoid the quadrant of the nation that is east of the 100th meridian and south of approximately Interstate 70.

I am not sure of any places on the East Coast that would fit your requrement of low humidity, and very little snow.

However any city in California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, West Texas, or Utah should have what you are looking for.

East coast= Temperate-Humid Continental-Subtropical (Humidity is everywhere)
Maybe Keansburg/Keyport NJ (lower humidity than most places south of it, less snow than anything north of it, and most cities north of it have similar humidity levels) But this is only because you rather stay on the east coast.

I don't know what to tell ya, but you don't have a lot of options, especially when you say you want some snow which also cuts out SD, PX, ABQ.

Colorado Springs would be your best bet.

The front range of Colorado. Even though seasonal snow totals look high by east coast standards, the sunny dry climate out there means that a 6" snowfall can melt within a day or less. Its a great part of the country with a fantastic climate.

the cost of living part kills any suggestion on the east coast IMO.
you can get a little bit of snow and low humidity in nyc but obviously the cost of living is not what you're looking for (you def won't get 4 bedrooms for that low).
