Basically, they're price-gouging infrequent users.
With express lanes coming to Orlando and the ones already in Miami, I understand the reason for the amount.

I already stated, I put $25 on my account around May 2014/2015 and I just reupped my account last year for the first time.

Right, so they got to hold your money for 4 years and collect interest on it. The state issues bonds at 5% typically, so that's what they're effectively earning by borrowing from you for free.

And then think of all the people who never use their balance. That's just a straight money grab.

The transponder saves them money. They should give it away for free. Instead they charge $19.99 for it.

By getting rid of cash toll booths, Florida increased their efficiency. Instead of passing that savings along to the customers with lower rates, they have instead RAISED their effective rates.

I recently got my Peach Pass. Installed it. Used it for the very first time on Feb. 28th on the I575 hot lane. Now, I've logged on and don't see my transaction where I was charged. How long does it take for the charge to show on my account, because I want to make sure it worked correctly. Any thoughts?

It can take up to 3 days and if you did it Thursday evening then that technically means Friday, then you have the weekend to account for so you probably wont see it until Monday or Tuesday.

My first visit on the NWE took a week to post to my account. I visted again the next weekend and it posted the next morning.

You never know with them.

85 is fairly consistent vs the 75s
