Try the Del Webb retirement community in the SE part of Hall County. It is called the Village at Deaton Creek, and is supposed to be great. The mountain areas such as Clayton, Dahlonega, Blairsville, etc are also supposed to be popular N. GA retirement areas, but I don't know much about specific areas.
