I am moving to Dallas, GA as soon as I find a job. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on how that area is? I hear it is a small town. I will probably look for work in Marietta. It is tough out there but being laid off at my job so have no choice but to look for a job.

Dallas is a nice little county-seat town outside of Marietta. Not really that small, it has stores like Wal-Mart SuperCenter, Kroger and Publix.

The traffic on Hwy 278 and GA 120 can be headache at times.

It sounds like a nice town. I have been looking for jobs in Marietta area. What area do you live in? I know the economy is crazy so I am a little worried about getting a job there. Are the people friendly around that area? What about crime? Where I am not I have been exposed to so much crime.

I am in Dallas at least once or twice a week for my job. I think if you have no choice but to move to Dallas, you may have been forced to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have travelled extensively and have been drawn to this region of this country not only for its cultural pleasantries, but for it's awesome aesthetical beauty as well. If you live in Dallas, take a drive up into the mountains someday and really enjoy what you're looking at. I think you'll see what I mean.
