Moving to decatur this summer
HELLO EVERYONE!
I AM MOVING TO DECATUR GEORGIA FROM EASTON PENNSYLVANIA THIS SUMMER AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME INPUT ON HOW THE CITY IS AND SCHOOLS ARE IN DECATUR. I HAVE A 15 YEAR OLD THAT WILL BE ENTERING THE 10TH GRADE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW THE SCHOOL SYSTEM RATES AND DEFINITELY CRIME SO PLEASE LEAVE ME SOME COMMENTS! I cannot help but wonder if you have searched 'Decatur' online and possibly located areas with 'Decatur' zip codes that in reality are in DeKalb County which is a completely different school system and a system which currently faces some serious budget restrictions and major challenges of other kinds.

Crime is higher outside the city limits of Decatur and selecting a place to live without visiting first is something I wouldn't do.
