don't know anything about them.

lake park is a nice place.

schools are operated by lowndes county; i think lake park schools are second only to hahira. i don't think they have a middle school down there, just elementary. however, lowndes middle is less than a 10 minute drive from lake park. high school is 15 minutes away. georgia christian private school is in dasher, ga; about 5 minutes from lake park.

Lake Park elementary is the best rated elementary in the county. The Lake Park area is really nice if you enjoy swimming, golfing, bike riding or walking. This area is big enough to have adequate shopping (grocery, several outlet stores (Beall's outlet, Polo, Rack room), dollar stores, numerous restaurants, hotels, several churches, banks) but small enough to have a small town feel and no traffic issues.

I grew up in Lake Park and lived on Frances Lake. Back in the 70's and 80's and even 90's Lake Park had the nicest outlet center in the USA I think they were onc of the first. Anyhow since every other city off the Interstate system started building outlets the ones in Lake Park vitually dissappared I think there are like 4 outles stores still open..but that is really beside the point. THe town has nice parts and some not so nice parts. But it is beautiful to say the least. There are a few lakes and lots of trees with Spanish moss that give it that southern feeling. It's school Lake Park Elementary is very nice and has great teachers.
